What do you all think about the Raiders releasing JaMarcus Russell? Think anyone will pick him up?

@iice74 Surely there are some teams out there that are in such bad QB shape it cant hurt to take the chance.. But not sure who???

@fuzzed Guess they could but I think T. Jackson is better than him.. Plus they still have S. Rosenthals right? But couldnt hurt I guess.

@istealth i dont feel like Sage or Tavaris are the long term answer for them. feel they need to think past Favre era.

@fuzzed Yeah I kniw, but think they are mostly worried about the now. I think they have about a 1-2 year window open before they decline.

@fuzzed Imo I think russel had a great championship game in college and Al Davis fell in love. But dont think he is long term Franchise QB
